Some folks just know how to have a good time - like Super Socialite Mellody Hobson who co-chaired the 15th Anniversary Gala for the Inner City Teaching Corps (ICTC) in Chicago last Friday night. ICTC recruits top college grads to teach in inner-city schools for two-year appointment.

This year's theme encouraged attendees show their school spirit and Ms. Hobson took it to a whole other level. She had six Princeton shirts sewn into a one shoulder dress. Seal was the event's entertainment and had the ladies screaming in glee!

The event raised more than $1.3 Million with a record turn-out as attendees shelled out $1000 per ticket to dine on cheeseburgers and cupcakes.

And, although Ms. Hobson's boyfriend George Lucas was unable to attend, he donated some neat items including an autographed Indiana Jones poster and a custom Star Wars character sketch that went for $23,000.
