On Vac-Cay!

Fab Fiance and I are taking much needed vacation. While many great and wonderful things are happening in our lives, we have also encountered some major challenges and difficulties.

We are grateful to be employed but our work loads at our day jobs have substantially 

increased over the past several months. 

We have our health, but have lost a treasured family member (again -sigh) recently.

We have each other and wedding planning is ramping up 

so we need a little break before the whirlwind over the next year.

I hope to come back revived and ready to start work on this blog (and other fun projects).

This week’s flick features (from left to right) Kyira Harris, Tricia Chambers, and Desiree Thomas attending a summer cocktail party held by The Citizen Committee for New York City. The organization was founded in 1975 by Osborn Elliott and Jacob Javits to encourage ordinary New Yorkers to volunteer to fill the gaps left by the city's cutbacks during fiscal crisis. The group continues to participate in a multitude of civic action activities.
