Make 2012 The Year of Living Fabulously

Good people, it is time for a change.

Whether it is with your relationships, socially or other aspects of  your life - 2012 can be the year that you can start putting things in place for future success.

Many of you have faithfully followed this blog for the past four years - and I am extremely grateful for your support.

However, I get the sense that some of you have allowed yourselves to become comfortable sideline participants in living rather than "getting into the game of life."

This year, I want you to make commitment to yourself that you will work diligently to have a more fabulous existence than in years past.

Your "re-branding" doesn't have to be flossy and glossy. It can simply be better than previous years.

Spend some quiet time today thinking about a few steps you can take to make 2012 the year of living fabulously.

You deserve a wonderfully incredible lifestyle - now it's up to you to cease the moment!

Friday's Fabulous Flick

The event was entitled “Art in Progress” and featured a performance from “Porgy and Bess," with introduction by Carmen deLavallade, a reading by Geoffrey Holder, reflection by Suzan-Lori Parks, and performance by Nikki Renee Daniels.

Susan Davenport Austin is president of the Board of Directors for The MacDowell Colony. She is also senior vice president and chief financial officer of Sheridan Broadcasting Corporation and president of the Sheridan Gospel Network.

Philanthropist and Interior Designer Mattie McFadden-Lawson hosted an elegant afternoon soiree at her historic Hancock Park estate in Los Angeles, California last month in honor of beauty and style authority Mikki Taylor to celebrate the forthcoming release of Mikki's new book, Commander in Chic: Every Woman's Guide to Managing Her Style Like a First Lady.  The event was coordinated by William P. Miller.

The book looks wonderful and - if you're a last minute shopper like me, you might consider grabbing one for a holiday present!
